A Letter For Christmas Spirit

Merry Christmas!

This last week heading into today was a slog with me battling a terrible cold. Which left my partner carrying a big load to make Christmas special. She crushed it.

She always crushes it. I’ve never met anyone who puts as much effort and energy into gathering people together and creating an environment for those people to commune, share with each other, and have fun. She loves to have fun.

Yesterday my boys and I wrote her a poem and typed it out to thank her for crushing Christmas and bring the spirit alive this year.

This gift of hers to gather people together is not one that comes natural to me. I lean on her a lot (and have for 14 years now) to bring this gift into my life.

My gratitude for this gift knows no bounds. My love and thanks for it never enough.
